Niagara Commercial Coatings & Insulation Announced as Newest Subsidiary of Great Northern Group

Thornhill, ON, April 20, 2020 - Great Northern Group of Companies ("GNG"), one of Canada's fastest-growing building services management firms, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Niagara Commercial Coatings & Insulation ("NCCI"). All existing employees of NCCI will be retained during the transition.
Based in Thornhill, Ontario, GNG continues to quickly expand across Canada with its fourth business acquisition since 2018. Previous acquisitions include Insultech Insulation Specialists, Sloan Insulations, and Ingenium. The company also owns and operates Great Northern Insulation, Barrier Sciences Group, Pull Marketing, and Customer XT. NCCI will operate as A Division of Great Northern Insulation.

Based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, NCCI is recognized throughout Canada for installing structural steel fireproofing, semi-rigid insulation, rigid insulation, sprayed glass fibre, and spray-applied polyurethane foam. The company's notable projects include the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and the Science & Technology Building at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Additionally, GNG has secured contracts with two big-box retailers with more than 500 locations combined across Canada. To ensure full delivery of its building services to all of these areas, the company has created the GNG Dealer Network. High Performance Spray Systems, based in Calgary, Alberta, is the first official dealer of the network.
