Fireproofing

Protecting buildings – and lives

Passive fireproofing/firestopping contains or slows the spread of fire, protecting lives, assets and the structure of the building itself. It fills holes left by the installation of electrical and plumbing components, using high-tech, spray-applied materials to maintain the integrity of firewalls with cables, pipes, wiring or joists. Fireproofing can be done at the building phase, during renovation or as a retrofit.
